Stable. That is the word used by Dr. Murray this morning. Brody went to Miami for his monthly EUA and laser treatment this morning and the word back from the Doctor was “stable.” Actually he said “stable and better.” We are grateful to God for the report that the situation is “stable” and even improving. We are still waiting for the word “gone,” but for now, we humbly, gratefully, and gladly receive “stable.” Dr. Murray explained that Brody’s tumor is shrinking and not growing which means that it is not active, but stable. Even as I write I hear Phillips, Craig, and Dean singing “Wonderful Merciful Savior. The words resonate in my heart as I write this report: “You are the One that we Praise! You are the One we Adore! You give the healing and grace our hearts always hunger for!”
For now…NO MORE CHEMO! and for now…the eye still remains! The Doctor reminds us each month that if the cancer shows signs of aggression and activity again, he will take the eye. But for now….it’s stable! Thank you for praying! We still long for the day when we may hear, “it’s gone”…but for now stable will do just fine! Thank you for continuing to pray through this now lengthy battle. Because of the prayers and God’s people and His amazing grace, we too are…well, stable! Blessings!
