Kids Ministry at The Orchard

At The Orchard our kids (infant through 5th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments (Nursery- infants through 2yrs, 1st Look- 3yrs through Kindergarten, and 252- 1st through 5th grade) where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way.

We would love to see you and your family visit OCC Kids. To find The Orchard closest to you, browse our locations here.

What we do

What happens on Sundays at OCC Kids revolves around three core values. Large group worship is a huge part of our Sunday experience. With high energy music, engaging videos, and relevant teaching, our kids always have a blast. Small group interaction provides a secondary adult voice speaking into every child's life, which we believe is key to their spiritual development. At the end of each Sunday, every child receives a take-home conversation starter to help parents be their child's spiritual hero.

Your first visit

Here's what to expect when visiting OCC Kids for the first time:

When you arrive our check-in team will meet your family, help you check your child into our safe and secure system, and then one of our volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room.

Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):

  • Parent/guardian name(s)
  • Child's name
  • Child's birthdate
  • Home address
  • Phone number
  • Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children

How check-in works

Before Service: You can check-in your child at each location at our check in area. After checking in, your child will be given a wrist band with a unique number that is exclusive to your family and your visit. You will be given a matching tag with the same number to hang on to during the service..

After Service: After the service is complete, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.

During Service: In the event that we need to contact you during the service, your child’s identification code will appear on the screen. We ask that you exit the auditorium immediately and look for a staff member or volunteer who will direct you to your child’s room.
